The term Islamophobia is mostly inspired by Xenophobia. After 9/11 right-wing ideological activists waged a war against Islam and Muslims. They started a network to disseminate misinformation against Muslim and Islam. Moreover, the rise of ISIS and multiple terror attacks in the USA and Europe instigated hatred and prejudice. Presence of Muslims in USA and Europe is also an important factor of anti-Muslim sentiment.
